Dear Doctor,

I would like to see someone in your profession about a personal matter. I have insurance, but I am afraid what I talk about will be stored somewhere and shared if someone or a smart lawyer goes snooping. Do you have any advice about this for someone like me?

Tourettes Syndrome

Dear Doctor,

We have a child, a son, who is eight years old. His doctor has said he thinks he has Tourette’s disorder because he has facial twitches and movements. We have heard some horrible things about this disorder and are frankly frightened to death.

A Crying Baby

Dear Doctor,

Is there something we can do? The baby is now three months old. She cries constantly and is only quiet when she is asleep. Is this a usual thing or is something wrong? Do babies get over this?

Video Games, Evil or Not

Dear Doctor,

We always said our children would not have video games. Now both of them do. We have heard that there is some proof that they can cause violent behavior. Both of our children are certainly not violent types.
